Help Identify This Van Used In An Abduction

I figure if anyone can identify this van, it’s oppo.

The minivan in the picture was used in the abduction of a 15 year old girl in Mississauga yesterday. Peel Police are unsure of the make & model.

I feel like it might be an early ‘00s Honda Odyssey.

Definitely look like a Honda Odyssey.

The front on the van used looks like it comes to more of a point. As in there’s more grille/front fascia visible on the suspect van when viewed from the side.

Thinking Mazda MPV, but the sliding door track is wrong.

It doesn’t look like the Odyssey either to me though. That said I can’t come up with a closer/better option... it’s probably the picture quality that’s throwing it off.

My biggest points for Odyssey are the tapered D-pillar, pointed front end, and the fact that the door handles appear to be spaced apart.

It looks like the van in the picture has a track that can easily be seen running down the side. That’s what would disqualify the Kia I think.

There’s a lot of votes for pre-facelift second gen Ody but I’m going with post-facelift i.e. 2002-2004

Above is a pre-facelift, below a post-facelift

I personally see more post-facelift since there’s a bigger grille, black plastic handles without black side trim, and more opaque plastic wheel covers that appear totally white in a low-res picture. But that’s just my 2¢.

It was an Odyssey. Clearer pictures released on Twitter, and the girl was found.

I contacted Peel Police this morning telling them the vehicle looked a lot like a 2nd Gen Odyssey, they replied to me agreeing, and then a few hours later the girl was thankfully found.
