I’m probably going to sell the 3rd gen later this year and get a CR-V or something that’s more able to carry a bike.

Is there anything wrong with the 3rd gen? Or why do you prefer the 4th and 5th instead? I just want to see more these things, especially love the looks of that 3rd gen. I think the 5th gen looks really good too, but it did get too fat.

The 3rd gen is my favorite of the three from aesthetic and sentimental standpoints (my first car was a different 3rd gen), but it’s kind of an orphan parts-wise, while the the 4th and 5th have plenty of things that can be interchanged with each other and certain Accords. The main reason I’d sell the 3rd gen is because it’s the only one of mine that would be worth anything on the market. The 5th gen has a rebuilt title and 4th gens are at the absolute bottom of their depreciation curve. I hate to do it, though.

How much could you fetch for it and maybe you could let it appreciate a bit more?

It’s not a 4WS, so it’ll never be worth too much. In good condition they typically go for $2500-3000, so that’s what I’d be aiming for. I have a little work to do before it’ll be worth that, though.
