...saw this when I parked in my garage. How does this even happen? Definitely wasn’t like that when I dropped it off. It doesn’t affect the vehicle itself in any meaningful way, but what the heck! (ETA - per Logansteno probably the free car wash. Which I said go ahead and do when they asked if I wanted it even though it was raining. Karma.)

At my dealer our car wash does this sometimes if the plate is a little loose. Why they didn’t try to fix it though is beyond me. Unless they didn’t notice when they parked it which is entirely possible. Of course that all relies on if it was washed.

It was washed good call. Coincidentally enough it was raining but the decided to wash it anyway. The irony here is that part of the reason I take my car to the dealer and pay more is that they throw in a wash every time, but this time it wasn’t a perk at all.

Last summer the dealer drove my car into a post during the free wash. I got a new bumper cover out of it and that employee was fired. I think our Subaru’s are cursed.

Well at least they repaired it and don’t try to blame you! I’m thinking this Outback is cursed. Sometime I’ll make a post about all the crap that’s happened to it in just 60k. The Forester has fared better besides now consuming oil. My mom backed her ‘14 Impreza into a post like the second month she had it. At first I was sympathetic because the parking garage she did it in is notroious. Then when I finally rode in the car I found out it has a backup camera. She’s never lived that one down.

Our wash does this too but only on early 2nd gen Mazda 3's for some reason, like 2010-2011.
