Looking the post of the befouled minivan sent for a detail made me appreciate my wife. She had a 2002 Lexus GS 300 that we bought used that was a fucking warhorse.
It was approaching 200k miles when we sold it. I bought her the fully loaded Sienna, at the time the only AWD minivan. It is a true land yacht - fully loaded. She loves it.
She keeps it beautifully. I will never need a filth detail.
A new car is a terrible investment; it needs to be well loved to be worth it.
