It’s an interesting concept. Before electricity was commonplace, homes were lighted with pulverized coal gas. If the combustion temperature is hot enough, it could possibly be made to run fairly clean.
Guess it would have all the same shortcomings of any other turbine though, terrible at stop/start driving, tough on brakes, and poor fuel economy. To say nothing of the expensive materials involved.
