Walked out when they tried to put $5k on sticker, they called soon after saying they’d take sticker.

Dealer across town had the blue for over sticker, was a little too flashy (shouted “arrest me”) for my tastes. So, trading a white Fiesta ST for a white Focus RS.

Well, as this point it’s just a test to see if you’re an sucker since getting one for sticker is pretty easy now. Another local dealer is reaching for $20k over still. It didn’t offend be, they had to try I guess.

It’s really good looking. Despite looking like a flat pastel blue in photos, it has a pretty noticeable metallic flake in it in person. I just ended up liking the dark wheels with the white paint and the contrast with all the black body trim.

Used prices on anything ST and above, Ford Perftomance products, have been surprisingly good the past couple of years. They’ll probably turn around and sell my Fiesta for $17-18, just $4k off sticker in 3 years. Raptors also still comand crazy resale for the 6.2s. But you’re right, unless you’re in it for the looooong run, depreciting assets are dumb.

Great buy, and yeah I’d never pay over sticker for a car. Thankfully ADM doesn’t exist in Mexico.

Currently there is a Ford dealership with 4 RS’s, and they can’t sell them at all.

Depends on your insurer. Pretty sure mine would probably be nice to me seeing that it has 4 doors and isn’t a standard model name like 911, Mustang, Challenger or any other 2 door sports car. I hope no car insurance agents read oppo (Steve Lehto can read oppo though, hes cool) 8D

Well I wouldn’t walk into the insurance place  or call your insurance agent sounding excited when you have to update them. Sound just as sad as you did when you had to pay rates on the first car you owned so you aren’t above suspicion.

(I sub-consciously sounded sad and the agent told me that)

How do you like it thus far? I test drove a grey one (sucker for that color), but it just didn’t impress me enough to replace my wife’s 228i or my Z4M. Setting up seat time in an M2, that might be the ticket.
