The Crosstrek has never remotely interested me, but today I saw this one. It’s amazing how a set of wheels and tires can change an entire vehicle. This setup looked amazing. Of course this vehicle would be literally twice as good if it were orange instead of silver.

I like it. I’m troubled by the smoked taillights though. I think they’re incredibly stupid, but they look good on this :/

Yeah I loved the orange - actually, that Hyper Blue replaced the orange when they did the facelift this year. There is also a bright green out there that was only offered on the slow-selling hybrid version. Now that they’ve killed it maybe the green can come back on non-electrified Crosstrek’a that will be lifted (doubt people are lifting many hybrids). There was also a limited edition yellow last year (1,000 units).
I have a neighbor who has a green one and it is impressively bright in person (he also has a fantastic expedition build full-size 90's Bronco going that I’ll try to snap a photo of some time). The whole color palette on offer is damn good for something so mainstream and prompted a Boston-area Subaru dealer to do this:

Maybe haha, I have been surprised and impressed by some. There are some oz rally wheels that fit it, I’ve seen some online. And supposedly ford ranger wheels fit it.

Looks better, I wouldn’t say great. I’m not a horsepower freak or bozo, but don’t these crosstreks come with a small 4 cyl pumping out just 148 hp?

I have no idea. It’s not a vehicle I would buy, but I think it looks really good with those wheels and tires.
