I really love how simple but iconic the Jurassic Park liveries are.

To keep the triceratops from charging. It’s about the only thing I remember from the book. Because it worked in Africa on Rhinos

Red stripe

In the book they explained the red stripes prevented rhino charging of the expedition vehicles. So they adapted it to the jeeps on Jurassic island figuring the Triceretops was ancestor to rhinoceros it would work same.

The book was fiction, so it may actually not work in real life. Makes for great livery though.

it was in the book for sure, for that reason. but I’m not sure if its an actual thing or not. We have an animal preserve here in texas you can drive through. I should go find out if its true ;)
