Yesterday, I finally got Dad to take me to an address I got for it, over in Stinkster, Michigan. When the P.I. gave us the info, she said Inkster, though the screenshot said Detroit. Well, it turns out it is in Detroit. Now, Dad would never take me down there, which doesn’t matter because I’m scared shitless of Detroit. So I’ll write the dude a letter. Wish me luck, fellow Opponauts!

Detroit isn’t as bad as it use to be! Downtown is fun, and Midtown(Wayne State area) is booming compared to years past. I’m not sure about the west side, but everywhere else is better for the most part. No need to be so afraid!! Heck, I’m sure any MI Oppo would be happy to help you out and go with you if they’re not busy.

Even Midtown is very vibrant, and Uptown isn’t really that bad. The place gets a lot of unwarranted hate.

Brightmoor’s been cleaned up a lot recently. There’s still a bit of urban decay, but it’s mixed in with a lot of normal houses in relatively normal shape. Parts of Delray are kinda sketch, but in a cool way, like the original Mad Max movie (before all the desert stuff).
