That’s not supposed to be like that.
Heard weird squeaking and tapping noises coming from the front end today. Expect it to be the anti-sway bar bushing has finally disintegrated. Nope. This. Big fucking crack in the inner fender right around the shock mount.
The A-arms and spring are actually supported by a tower structure inside the engine bay, so this probably doesn’t effect the integrity of the car much, but I removed the shock to relieve strain on the crack. Will have to find a body shop or a welder this weekend to patch this up. What joy.
