Kinja'd!!!

I thought the straight line on the top of this coupe was interesting.

What do you think of coo-pays? I generally do not like them, especially the big old American models with four-foot-long doors. Thoughts?

No, I see it. I just don’t know what it is!

Forgive my ignorance

I think it’s a Scion.

It’s a second generation Scion tC. Actually a 3-door hatchback, not a coupe. Also sold in a few other markets as the Toyota Zelas... closest they got to you is probably China - I don’t think there was ever a RHD variant. They are sub-$20k FWD coupes that sit on the Avensis platform and have a 2.5L I4 out of the RAV4 with matching 6-speed auto and manual transmissions. With the manual they actually get on OK (0-60 in the mid 6's). I’ve never drive one, but from what I heard ride/handling weren’t up to par with the competing Civic/Veloster/Forte and they didn’t sell well. The first generation was slower, but cheap and easy to modify and therefor popular with the tuner crowd.

The Scion roof is like that because it isn’t a coupe, it’s a 3-door hatchback...

Bah, I’d call it a coupe. The 300ZX was a “hatchback”, but they call that a liftback-coupe don’t they? My insurance called it a convertible though it had t-tops (and there is a convertible).

It’s coupey enough for me :)

That’s pretty cool. We never really had a little Toyota with sporty aspirations like that, Scion or not.
