Well, she was a criminal, warmonger, and insulted everyone that lives in literally 95% of the country (plus about 40% of those that live in the remaining 5%). The fact she got more than half the votes in 19 states should be the bigger shocker.
We ended up with the Cheeto in Chief by default because the only other person that had a big enough mindless voter demographic to beat him was such a piece of shit that they couldn’t draw any independent voters.
The people that support either of them are fucking absurd, but at least the one we got isn’t a psychopath that would start a nuclear war that would likely result in the extinction of humanity. She’s still got another week and they’ve been pulling out all the stops to start one by picking fights with everyone. It’s like the shit the Clintons pulled when they left he whitehouse, except it’s not just the china this time.

I kinda feel sorry for him. Just barely. I think he low-key ran as a joke and is now realizing he’s in way over his head. Moreover, I always felt that Trump didn’t really believe his own words too strongly (thus why he keeps changing them) so it’s hard to hold any of his opinions against him (except for that whole “pussy” thing, that was inexcusable). I think the real danger is in those who take what he says as gospel and will doggedly follow him towards our country’s downfall. I didn’t plan to leave the West Coast and I am even more thankful now that I don’t live in a place where people run the risk of having everything taken from them (money, rights, jobs, etc.)

As far as insulting goes, she said one sentence that was indeed insulting. The basket of deplorables, talking about the part of his electorate that is racist, mysoginist or bigot. I personaly don’t desagree, but if I were to run for president I’d keep it to myself. That was stupid.
Meanwhile, the NYT manage to print 2 full pages of all his insults, going from the mocking of the handicapped reporter all the way to implying that because he’s read it on the internet, Clinton might have put contracts on the heads of a few people... But recently, he started to really disliked “Fake news”. Funny :)
I would have never wished for her to get past the primaries. Anyone else would have been better. But to remotely compare the two and considering that Clinton is “just as bad” as the man baby that got elected is utterly ridiculous.

She also admitted to her crimes that should have seen her in an orange jumpsuit instead of a purple pantsuit. The only reason I can speculate that would explain why she’s still walking around free is that it would have been seen as rather unfair to jail the candidate of a major party (no matter how shady the process through which she attained it was).
The twisted thing to me was that Hillary was the neocon choice - she has always stood by and extended neocon positions as an elected official and cabinet member. She is also a globalist. Bernie and Trump are both isolationists and their positions oppose globalism (might be described as protectionism).
When I looked at their positions during the election, it was hard to find the right box for Trump. He’s definitely not a neocon, not a modern republican, and not a modern democrat. The closest thing I have is a pre-WWII democrat. If he keeps even a tenth of his campaign positions, he’ll be a sort of modern incarnation of FDR. His use of Twitter, for example, is practically a modern-day version of the fireside chat.

The funny thing is that the DNC created their superdelegate system to avoid another Hubert Humphrey, but that ultimately went way too far the other way. If they hadn’t had that system, they would have had a Bernie Sanders and I’m very confident that he would have won the election with ease. It’s kind of weird to me that the DNC would have such a system, considering it feels more like something the RNC would do (the whole elitist cabal type system).
