Quite possibly the best proportions of any car ever.

A little too 90's doughy, the later cars looked better IMO:

Nope. Looong hood, cab pushed back, shooting brake, no overhangs, clownshoe.

Ooh, so close. Here’s a better example:

I’m sorry, but you’re going to have a tough time convincing me there’s much better than the Ferrari M3:
If we’re limiting it to production cars... fine, give me an NSX.

Can’t tell if you’re joking. They look nothing alike.

As much as I love clownshoes there’s nothing proportional about that greenhouse.

Those do have good proportions.

Same long hood, cab-back, no overhang, smaller greenhouse. Works better for you?

The Z4m is a contender for sure, but it has two problems (to me, I could just be insane):
1. The transition from the rear fender to the rear decklid is a bit ungaingly and visually massive. The Z3 M Coupe’s is less fussy, although I don’t like how it’s upswept.
2. When combined with the curve of the hood the space between the front wheelwell and the door is a bit too slab-like. The Z3 M Coupe nails this space and it’s part of why the non-greenhouse part of that car looks so proportionally right.

I think the phantom A pillar and badge does well to break up that space. I’ve noticed that transition from fender to the tail too but don’t mind it.
Honestly I like the clownshoe better.

Well its up there with the group. No doubt Aston Martin does their homework.
