I might take a look at this one for my soon-to-be 16 year old. The price is a tad high, but I bet I can talk him down.

Bless your heart. I got boys your age and their is NO FREAKING way I would buy them one of those.

My head is here. Zetec engine era Focus. Sporty enough with a manual and easily upgradable and fixable by me or him.
