Looks like Caddo Parish found a new tenant for the old GM plant where Elio is slated to begin production. None of the news sources I’ve seen reference Elio or if Glovis will be sharing the facility with any other manufacturers. The plant is quite large (125,000 sqft) and dealer finishing probably won’t take up the entire facility, but I think this is a case of Parish and State officials growing impatient with the Dale Elio leadership.

Glovis America is taking 125,000 square feet, but GM once listed the entire complex at 3.1 million sq ft. The mayor of Caddo Parish has said that Glovis is not occupying any space originally allocated for Elio, so they still theoretically have their plant.
