Although I still Thing the name “gran coupe” is stupid, call it a liftback. And it has 4 doors so by their own definition it should be a 3 series. BMW nomenclature is confusing.

Well the 330 sedan is a sedan with a trunk, and more rear headroom. 430 gran coup has less head room and a liftback arguably a more attractive roof line.

The iDrive and screen are another total PITA that someone else decided everyone wants and needs (hint: NOT!)
btw BMW — my cellphone has better voice-guided nav and is updated in real time UNLIKE SOME GERMAN CARMAKERS’ NAV SYSTEMS. Plus, it can be turned off and out totally out of sight.
Worst is, not only can you not opt out of the screen or fold it out of sight, you can’t even turn it off until further notice. Everytime you start the engine or go over a bump you hafta masturbate the damned knob and take eyes and attention off the road to choose “Turn Off Control Display”
Arrggh!!
