Because Kansas.

Public busing helps poor people, therefore it can’t look appealing or everyone will want to be poor and just mooch off the government instead of working. Or something like that probably.

I honestly just can even with the clowns like the guy ruining Kansas because reasons and Fuck You, that’s why. Sigh

The purchase price is just the price of admission. It’s all the other costs of getting it on the road that I would be concerned about.

SHHHH. I’d turn it into a toy hauler RV that’s conveniently big enough to fit both smarts. xD

That was Luc. He wanted a shorty flat nose bus. Now he just wants a job.

It occurred to me on the way to pick up my girls, that the flat nose busses are rear engined. That eliminates them from toy hauler potential. You need a much more common regular bus.

Actually not all of them are rear engine, all of the flat front buses at my old middle school are front engine and have a doghouse type thing covering the engine. :)

But this one is definitely rear engine, so no toy hauler. :( But, maybe Porsche-bus!!

The funny thing is that old school buses are so dirt cheap in like every state.

Interesting!

The reason buses are cheap, is by law they can only keep them so long. Also there isn’t exactly a huge market for old school busses. High supply and low demand = CHEAP :)

There’s some nutter on Chicago CL trying to sell a shorty flat nose bus for $2500 ... which seems like a great deal, except the motor is blown. It’s in the RV section.

I actually didn’t know that!!! But it makes sense with safety whatnot.

Oh gosh, thankfully Miss Tesla keeps my head on straight now that we have oodles of extra money...or else on Friday I’d be flying out east and buying a 1st gen smart for $1,500!

But a first gen smart is small enough that I can fit all three generations in one space!!!

Seriously though, I don’t need to become a smart hoarder. I only got to keep Tucker out of pure luck lol.
