Worth note, however, there were also converted FCs made by several coachbuilders that have a “stubbyface” version of a normal front end. Starting with the II, continuing up through the III - most were fire trucks.

Here’s the thing, though. They flip their shit over reconstituted *defenders*. I’m not sure but what their approach to Series might be a LOT more “yeah whatever”. I’ve seen an import in my neck of the woods that is a cobbled Irish farmer’s mishmash of several IIs and a III with a 2.25 diesel of unknown provenance, imported just fine.

Knowing my luck recently that would be the one time they took an interest. It also doesn’t help that we’re redoing the kitchen, need to replace the roof within the next 5 years and our oil furnace is almost 30 years old.

Heh, if I had two months worth of vacation and an extra $10k on top of the $10k for the truck. I’d bring it all over, although at this point I think it’s only the rusted body and blocks that remain of the Grahams. The rest has been stolen off it for scrap metal, because Africa... sigh.
