My “man, someday” list has a straight truck like this on it, but it’d have to be a bulldog Mack. My dad drove truck his whole life, and he worked for a fertilizer company when I was a young pup. He used to go out on Saturday mornings and water the local dirt track. Once in a while he’d let me ride with, he would start from the top and work his way down...he couldn’t keep traction on the wet clay track, so he’d keep the front wheels up on the wet stuff and let the back wheels slide down onto the dry stuff and crab walk it around the banked corner. preschool aged Comes Over used to be scared sh*tless, but also loved the heck out of it.
Don’t know what I’d do with it, it’s not like I’m going to just have a straight truck with a tank on the back of it, but the nostalgia makes me want something like this as a project.
