To me it looks like the combination of 2003-2008 JDM Odyssey and the 2013-now international Odyssey:

I like it because it’s not trying to hide the fact it’s a van.

I think that this the first time in over a decade I can safely say that I really want a minivan. This thing looks amazing. Between this and the Transit Connect, I can say that they’re easily the best looking minivans on the market.
(Yes, I consider the Transit Connect a minivan)

I think those all look quite bad. Good looking modern minivans:

I kinda like it, especially at the front. Waaaaaayyyy too many GM influences though.

Might as well embrace it, it’s hard to hide the minivan shape.

If there’s any trend that needs killing ASAP, it’s the semi-floating D pillar. Either make it a full D pillar or black it out, imo.

Didn’t like the weird beltline kink last time, don’t like it now. Otherwise seems ok.

I quite like the Sienna, and the Pacifica also looks good. This one isn’t trying too hard to look outrageous, and that’s a good thing.

That current gen 5 really is bad - especially since the previous gen was a handsome tall wagon. It’s interesting that the same company can knock it out of the park with the 6 sedan.
Might be in the minority here, but it seems like Honda design might be doing a little Meth... That rear quarter jig-a-jag always bugged me, and now we have side flank swoopies and “flying roof” dog ear wing things. I suppose diversity is the spice of life...

Is this a face lift or a whole new car.
Also I am disappointed to se a rear windshield wipder, not one tucked into the he spoiler like a Sienna.

im sorry just very european taste. Eurpean vans look so strange to me, but are very space efficient on the inside apparently.

Haha, tis ok. Old European MPVs were miserable since they were just vans with giant captain’s chairs.
New ones, though, are indeed very good at what they do.

That design looked good on concept cars, but there’s a reason they only used that theme on one car.

The Transit Connect is a minivan, no doubt about it. I never was a fan of the last gen Odyssey but this takes it and makes it more mature and fun at the same time. Well done Honda...

It works a lot better on this than the last van, probably because of the floating pillar right behind it.

Swap out the face and the interior and this could easily pass as a Buick. I hate the current Odyssey, and this is only a minor improvement. Pacifica mastervan race!
