The LC500 looks great...from some angles

And really bad from some

And I think it would look a LOT better from all angles if they cleaned up the styling shmoo. This is like the mid cycle refresh version where they just slapped on some garnish to a great shape to keep it fresh...I think the base shape works well, its the details that are tragic.

That being said, no one can argue that the interior isn’t amazing

I want to go to there.

I’ve tried to love the spindle and this is the least offensive version of it...but I still can’t, it just looks so contrived and artificial. It smacks of being there JUST to stick out, where it should look like it stunning (either good or bad) but meant to exist for real reasons. This only looks like a styling element.

As do I - I think whether or not I like that Lexus corporate grille is really dependent on which car it’s on. This car seems to look alright with it, and the rest of the car is pretty nice.

I agree. Can’t stand Lexus’s styling on any of their current cars.

I don’t really think this is succeeding anything in the current Lexus line since they don’t have a luxury coupe, and haven’t really had one since the SC. That said, I’d opt for a hard plastic econo-interior if it came with the 1LR-GUE from the LFA.

I haven’t been a fan of this front end, but I think it looks completely acceptable on this car. In fact, it looks pretty good. The aggressiveness it suggests it appropriate for this type of car. On the other hand, the attempt to adapt this front end to the new LS is stupid.

I love the exterior (yes, even the front). The interior however, looks just about as boring and chunky as every other Lexus/Toyota that has ever been made.

Nothing I hate more than tons of crappy chrome slapped on a car. This has way too much, from the headlights to the rear reflectors as well as the rear tail lamps. Too much chrome!!!
