I’d love to be a world class master at some exotic martial art and find myself in front of him in line at the grocery so I can take my time buying my damn librul commie food and when he complains point out that he isn’t the ‘self-made’ man he says he is because if he were he would not be in line to buy groceries other people made for him. Nor would he drive a vehicle other people assembled from raw materials he didn’t mine and forge himself. And that by the way he can thank a liberal that his meds don’t kill him, his food is safe to eat, though he should really go forage for it himself since he’s so independent and that every single thing he takes for granted is due to some liberal fighting for that right/law/process against companies and governments who would otherwise oppose those ideals.

Then when he gets angry and tries to fight me I can kick his ass like Neo at the end of the Matrix and then mock him for being so ineffectual and less than a man.

I fucking hate the mindset of the the typical Rethuglican voter/officials. They are such horrid people. It’s fine to have conservative ideals. It’s another thing entirely to use your power to take always freedoms and humanity from those with whom you disagree.

I may not understand your motivations or choices. I can even disagree with them.

But that doesn’t make you any less of a person. Nor does it give me the okay to remove your rights. Allowing others to do things with which one disagrees is how society functions.

These assholes no longer wish to have a society. They want a cult and a dictator. They are so worried about some imagined threat they are turning into the very thing they fear. No amount of logic nor reason can convince them otherwise. There is no truth apart from what they feel, and [insert deity] help us trying to oppose them.

We are proper fucked and the only way out I can see is to forcefully remove them from power. Like a leech, they will not let go once they find a juicy vein and we have allowed them far too much time to do just that.

*Sigh* It’s not often you read cold hard truth on Oppo, yet here we are.

The sad thing is that oh yes, those you speak of do wish to have a society. But they want a society like back in the day...but it’s not even how society actually was back then. South Park’s “Member Berries” showed this idea the best.

This new Trump Administration wants it where basically America gets redefined as the country that holds all other countries by the balls. They will then use the government to control the lives of its citizens under the guise of “freedom” and “smaller government”. I’ve yet to see how controlling the reproductive rights of women somehow gives them more rights? These aren’t granting Americans “more freedom”, it’s taking them away. It’s all textbook Fascism.

I have no issues with conservatives either, in fact I’m the only one in my family who isn’t one. But I do have issues with people who intentionally ignore facts and invent facts when they’re on the losing side of history.

I shouldn’t have to fear leaving my house. I shouldn’t have to make my next choice in life based on “will they hurt me if they figure me out?” I shouldn’t have to see popular media outlets outright lie about me and see their fabrications taken for fact...yet, here we are...And who’s going to stop them now?
