Applying for a part-time independent courier job, and... well... I’d rather call my Soul a station wagon or a crossover, but this... this is the most accurate choice.
Help me.
Also, who the hell puts a hyphen in “minivan?” That’s almost as bad as the “mini van” ads that ruin Craigslist searches for Minis.

I kinda think station wagon is more like it. But, there is no shame in a minivan. I think they’re the natural evolution of the wagon.

As a courier service they are trying to determine how big your car is. A Soul is substantially smaller than a minivan. Also when searching for Minis try using the chassis codes (R50, R53, R56, F56 etc). It helps to weed out the bad results and directs you more towards the enthusiast owned cars.

They are, definitely. I’ll freely admit that the Soul is wayyyy closer to the minivan side of things on the crossover spectrum, and I’ll also freely admit that I have no idea why anyone would even call it a crossover in the first place. It’s more of a wagon/minivan combination than anything.

Depends, though. Minivan covers anything from a Grand Caravan down to a first-gen Aerostar. Which, admittedly, is still much bigger on the inside than my car.
But then my car is much bigger than a “small car,” too. They really, really need to add an option for wagon, or at the very least, “full-size car.” It’s a huge jump from “small car” to “minivan.”
