I’d say he’s probably happy to drive it, but is willing to sell someone actually shows up. Kinda like putting something on ebay with a stupid reserve just to test the waters. If some idiot turns up you hose them, if not you keep something you didn’t really care to get rid of in the first place.

Heck, I was tempted to list my truck for $35,000 the day after I bought it. There were others out there going for that, albeit lower mileage. I figure there’s enough idiots out there that wouldn’t know the difference.
Today though... I’d list for 40k, because I like it even more now :)
