This thing is 2" shorter and has 1.5" less ground clearance than my Outback. It is also front wheel drive while the Outback is AWD. I’m trying to figure out which one is the wagon and which one is the crossover. Seriously, though, I’ve been seeing more and more of these and other new compact “luxury crossovers” recently and it is amazing how they make my Outback look like more of an “SUV” than it did 4 years ago when I bought it.

QX30 is only called a SUV because people only buy crossover these days. It isn’t a crossover elsewhere. And I would argue the GLA is not a Crossover either.
They’re all hatchbacks, but we all know hatchbacks are for the plebs. There is no such thing as a luxury hatchback.

Sportcross.
Adding an X raises the suspension, adding Sport lowers it. So Sportcross really just mean a regular wagon.
