450 HP, twin turbos, a manual gearbox, AWD, and a spoiler that moves. This isn’t so much a 991.2 4 GTS as it is a 996 Turbo S, right down to the vents in the sides of the rear bumper. And that’s very exciting indeed.

Honestly that badging is a little excessive.

It’s a no-cost option to have it just say “Porsche.”

It’s crazy to think that’s where we’re at now. This is the middle 911 dropping former Turbo S power from 10 years ago.
I still argue the base 911 makes the most sense until the GT3 or Turbo levels.

I would say a very sparsely optioned “S” model makes the most sense. Not a whole lot more than a regular 911, but you do notice the extra punch.
