Conventry must have had exceedingly warm winters in the 1990s

Because my Jag frigging hates freezing temperatures.

Among other things: the antenna needs to be gently guided by hand to full retract (after liberal application of silicon); the wiper fluid freezes, not matter how low the temperature it’s rated for; and the door locks, which use some sort of weird electronic voodoo to register a handle pull from the inside stop working regularly. And then there are the interior rattles, which are cold weather rattles and are different from the warm weather rattles, as bits loosen up..

Drop some rubbing alcohol in your windshield washer fluid. That will keep it from freezing.

To be fair, apparently you guys are having a pretty poor winter over there, it warmer in the UK than it is in most of the states. It’s 52f on the south coast right now.

The tabloids here are in full panic mode, predicting “fatal” weather. Its expected to be a couple below freezing and a light dusting of snow. The UK does not handle proper winter weather well...

On the East Coast, I’d say it’s pretty mild by winter standards, but I was in Scotland a few days ago and it was much warmer.

According to Countryfile on the telly you’re going to get -12 in rural areas next weekend. Get the woollies out!

I’m on the coast so I don’t think it’ll be that bad, I’m also willing to be that it won’t be that cold.

Scotland is the cold part! I’ve been cycling to work in shorts this week.

Being jag, they probably only built them when it was warm, and went on strike when it was cold. Therefore never finding out how it performed in winter.
