Sounds like he thinks it’ll go fast. Better to do your homework like you are than to rush too quickly, though. Good luck!
And yeah it seems like a lot for a 4 runner to tow. If the distance is short and speeds are low, it may be ok, but I have no clue.

These have rust issues and a 20R with a 5 speed. The rust is what I’m most worried about. A generic full car uhaul and the car is 4500 pounds. I’m not worried about the accelerating. I’m worried about not having trailer brakes.
