In my 2007 Tahoe’s Owner’s Manual, you have a picture of what appears to be an early 80s Chevy Celebrity and a K5 Blazer (?). That means this photo is about 20 years older than my Tahoe, and probably a bit older than most Opponauts.
What the oldest/most outdated photo in your Owner’s Manual?

That “Celebrity” looks more like a 90ish Buick LeSabre to me.
This could be fun. I’ll brave the cold to grab Crustys manual.

Outdated? Why, this odometer reading, of course! That was a LONG time ago!

Whelp.. a bit of a letdown. The best “outdated” pic in my 1995 manuals is just a drawing of an 87-91 Bronco.
It was in a book called “Four wheeling with Ford” though. Kinda neat.

Ooh! A separate analog Trip Odometer too!

I’m pretty sure the stock battery was a no maintenance type (it lasted 6 or 7 years without filling in any event).
My impression is that very few car batteries require topping off with water these days.

All 80s GM crap is the same.
