It’s a right of passage of doing a hard repair and flipping off the offending part and taking a photo. It’s like a tradition. These are not my photos but I do the same thing. Its cathartic.

In the same fashion,
I was installing lower control arm drop brackets, and struggling with it in a small garage space I rented at an condo complex, I was laying on the ground shuffling around and smacked my forehead on the Jeep, was bleeding pretty good for about 5 minutes, I tried to calm down. Jeep unibody was flexed or bumped where they wouldn’t install. I spent a few thousand dollars a for long arms. Then I haven’t driven it much since.

It’s surprising how cathartic it is to do this.
I’m heading down to the “shop” soon to tear down another trike and will update with pics.

I think the same thing. You pull out that part and take a photo flipping it off and post it and it just feels really good.

trying to remove a malibu rear wheel bearing. Yeah New England salt! see that brown ring in the inside diameter? that ring is 1/16 thick ring of corrosion and salt/grime crap that built up between the bearing and hub.
had to put the bolts back in, back them out and then wail on the bolts with a hammer.

The only thing I’ve taken a pic of me flipping it off is a capacitor that shocked me real good, but I’m replacing my steering gearbox on monday so there are going to be a lot of fingers towards that
