At least BMW sets it at 37 the Jag did it at 40 annoying. If his is like mine there will also be a tpms warning for all 4 tires

I hate that thing. I know how cold it is outside, I just had to walk through the outside to get to the car!

Since I’ve got summer performance tires on the back, so I’m not going anywhere today, but I assume it would come on the second I started the car.

Maybe I should be thankful we don’t have the TPMS legislation up here in Canada, my 2012 doesn’t have that system. Although in Canada we got used to it mostly, since most people don’t bother with TPMS sensors when switching over, just let the light be there.

My G6 used to do that too, but it doesn’t friggin chime. Just a message appears and goes away.

How is the E90 vs E92? I’ve found a few and also I know manual is way to go but is the SMG good on them?

I went with the E90 because I wanted a sedan, there really isn’t too much difference in anything between the E92 and E90, the E92 might be like 0.1s quicker to 60, but then Car and Driver got a 2008 E90 M3 to 60 in 4.1s. There might be some other slight differences, but there isn’t one that would make you choose one over the other besides the door count, or availability. I looked for 2 months straight to find the car I wanted and I settled for grey when I really wanted white.

I’ve got a 6MT because I always wanted a manual car. It’s actually a DCT in the E9X cars, the E46 had the SMG. I know the SMG was a regular manual gearbox with a computer controlled hydraulic clutch, and actuators to shift between the gears. I haven’t heard any horror stories about the DCT. I’ve driven an F10 M5 with the DCT and that was a pretty good drive. I have not driven an E9X with a DCT, I only drove 6MT cars when I was looking.

Are you thinking about getting one?

Yes I’ve been looking at them but buying one is a bit of ways off currently but I’ll most certainly be looking cause I need a DD that can do track duties as well.

It is a pretty fantastic car, expensive but I haven’t regretted buying it.

Yea, my G35 wondered that a few years ago. ‘Twas a poor car for a blizzard. Well, at least the choice of Summer Ultra Performance tires was poor.
