The continued metamorphosis of my BMW into a pile of snow and ice had to be stopped today. Took me about 20 minutes to free it of what must have been 5 tons of snow and ice and to my surprise, the car actually started up pretty much instantly, just before it stalled again because of an apparent faulty crankshaft position sensor (thanks to the ebay seller who’s delivered it only after I left for Christmas holidays). I still bought a set of new wiper blades and ignition coils since it was about time, hopefully the car will run normally again once I’m back and replaced the faulty sensor.
