And even after no having any patience left for repairing the damn thing the engine would make a great coffee table or something.

as a coffee table it would be useless, why put stuff on it to cover it up?

Maybe shove it into an Alfa Spider? I’d be crazy enough to do it.

I’ve been considering putting a Busso into the bed of my Skoda pickup and covering it with a fake hay bale

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: My 1992 164-s was in the top 5 most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. Much better than the Volvos, and on par with the Buick. It was a good car. It had slightly over 400k miles on it when I traded it to a friend for help replacing the cclutch on my 2000 corolla. he sold it 30k miles later because he was broke and needed money. We both miss that car.

I am ready to live with that in order to have the pure sex that is the Busso family.

Also I know a person that have a GT with one of those and after over 150k km the engine have not given him any trouble.

Attestation of how good that engine was that Cosworth wanted to make more of them.
