I don’t know what he really thinks he’ll do once he’s in office, but he’s been talking in public like this since forever. I remember when the Tour de Trump was a promising and successful bike race, and he got up on a podium and proclaimed he was going to grow it to eventually traverse the continental U.S. Then, a few later, when the business case for it went away, he pulled out. What he says and what he does are hardly the same thing. The difference is, in this new job, what you say and how you say it are regarded as being as important as what you do and not just bombastic marketing speak. I wish he would get that.
Also, someone needs to take away his Twitter account.

I know a few people who are wishing that cheeto jesus gets impeached. these are also the same who were hoping for him to win to be crushed. “be careful what you wish for”
With the number of egos bruised I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a number waiting for him to slip up and reveal a “47 % like tape’ . In feudal societies the royalty usually kills off other potential heirs. In cheeto jesus case his successor would probably be preferred by the court (house and senate) if they can get away with it. ( by get away I mean co-op trumps populist supporters like the tea party was absorbed.)
