Just finished and drove back up home, raining, stormy. Of course our booth was right next to the roll up doors so it was cold as fuck. Booth wasn’t so bad, we got this awesome Miata Cup car, owner from San Jose brought it by for the show. I had to move it around a bit and I was the same size as the driver, the cage and everything was a tight fit for the right person. Ford didn’t have the RS and Honda didn’t have the Civic R, bullshit. Nice GTR there etc... the usual.

Well my dad is from MT and I have lived there. There is something about the wet air and wind in the Bay Area, it will just chill you to the bone, Mark Twain commented on it. It’s not that bad but we had the main doors facing the back of the booth and it just came through like an AC vent, the wind chill was not great. I often do rigging or graphics and when I’m up in the lift I sometimes have to be positioned in front of an AC vent, guys tape them up if they will be there a while. I work for Freeman, who is the general show contractor for many shows, LA Auto Show etc.. all kinds, we did the Super Bowl, America’s Cup, Google, Apple, Oracle, Sales Force.... Everything in SF for the most part. I just happened to get this small auto show south of us. I’m usually disappointed with SF but this was really a dealership lot, some people rolled classics in for the concourse. I have done LA three times, sometimes do E3. Jag/Land was my favorite when the F Type came out, I had trouble hooking that low as car up to power though!
