Bought XBox 1 and Forza. Plugged in XBox and now I wait for the update. I’m sure Forza will want an update as well. Looks like I might get to play tomorrow.

My 7 year old wasn’t terribly patient when ours had to update. And then the game had to update...

We’ve been a Sony house since the original PS. I got a large gift card from work for Amazon and thought what the heck.

Hum, haven’t had any long updates when installing and setting up my nieces’ PS4 at Xmas... I’ve never really like Xbox products ever since they existed... The controller of the Xbox and Xbox 360 were my main pet peeves, eventhough I still ended up getting a 360 way later when they got cheap as hell...

When we got our PS4 in May I recall it taking a bit to update. It’s not a huge thing, but it is a bit annoying. I’m curious about the controller. It doesn’t feel as substantial as the PS.

Unless he wanted to play racing games, since the PS4 is well over half of its life (it will be four years old in ‘17, damn I remember when they announced it) and there is no sign at all of Gran Turismo 7, and the spin-off GT Sport lost two of its biggest advantages over Forza (dynamic weather and day-night cycle), and have already been delayed with no proper release date. While that happens, the Xbox One is getting its fifth Forza game (Motorsport 7) in September/October, and the “worst” (Motorsport 5) of them getting a 79 metacritic score, the only of with a score lower than 80 and with most recent one (Horizon 3) getting a 91 score.
PS: Although I kinda envy some PS4 exclusives (looking at you, Naughty Dog) and it’s beautiful, minimalism interface, in comparison with Microsoft’s mess, I’m bitter with Sony since they introduced the PS4 for no less than double, yes double the price of the Xbox One where I live, while in everywhere else the PS4 was cheaper. They did the same with the Xperia Z5 Premium, gorgeous cellphone, but it’s Brazilian subsidiary decided it was gorgeous enough to be the most expensive cellphone in the market at its time, more expensive than a 128 GB iPhone 6S Plus, even though Sony has nowhere near the same brand cache as Apple has in the country

My house has a One S (4k TV so had to) as of this Christmas, and the download was a bit. Then the controller took a bit. Then I put a game in and that took and bit....
I hear it’s awesome though. Maybe by next Christmas? ;)

Ahh. I remember not playing my 360 for 6 months once. When I tried to play it next it couldn’t even complete all the updates before restarting and doing the process all over again. I never played it after that.
