It was probably cause of this. However, I recently attempted to do another submission now that I have another car, and weeks have gone by without a response either by snail mail or email. So it might have been that one.
So, I had a few minutes, and I went and tried another few combinations. First things first, I of course go and check my submission for availability at https://servicearizona.com/webapp/vehicle/plates/personalizedChoiceSearch.do .
Tried FITALL. says it’s available. Attempt to register.

All of them are available when you search for them. I might have finally pissed them off.
For the record, my intial submission was FFFFUUU... which I attempted to justify as a ending word for “KUUUNNNG FFFFUUU” so they simply have had enough of my shit.

Partial success story — supposed to have a space between the model and engine designations; when taken back to tag office the wizard of smart at the window reports that spaces are no longer available on tags (wait, wut? They ran out or something??)

Mine is “double drop”, which primarily refers to DJs dropping the bass on two songs at once, but it apparently, according to Urban Dictionary, also has a second meaning of taking two hits/pills at the same time. I guess Virginia DMV doesn’t know either meaning because they let me have it.
