...nothing is a problem. At the worst, I feel like I’m driving on gravel where, even with slight slip, digging in for traction and carving the corner is easy.
But, I have to worry more about those behind sliding into my backside because braking is no problem either.

Don’t forget snow tires does not = ice tires.

studded tires are legal in quebec, but not in ontario.
they give you even less traction on asphalt and they wear fast. plus you hear them from miles away.
i personally have Yokohama ice guard. a good ice and snow tire.

I learned this the hard way! My friends and I took three cars between our group up to Tahoe. Not quite snowing, but still pretty icy, enough so that none of our all-seasons shod cars could climb the rented house’s steep driveway.
Momentum, blessed she may be, carried me the furthest up the hill, until I could do no more than spin tires while revving the engine up to 6k rpm and slide back down with brakes fully engaged.
