Took my first trip to Minnesota this past year for my sister in laws graduation... sooo relaxing in the summer, it was like a weight I didn’t even realize I was carrying was lifted...

We spent spring break in DC a few years ago. While we enjoyed it there definitely is a lot left to be desired in the traffic alone. Thankfully we relied on the trains much more than driving.

The metro is a nice system, but they upped all the rates so I don’t use it much anymore... cheaper to take Uber with at least 2 people...
This area really is a hellhole for driving, but there’s a nice road by Quantico about 40 minutes from me, and of course the blue ridge parkway an hour and a half away... of course that’ll be covered in snow for a bit but I can’t wait to scream along the ridge...
