In mid September, the 2018 Hyundai Veloster was caught heavily camouflaged, testing in South Korea. This is sadly all we can see of the front, but I’m hoping they don’t change outthe current Veloster’s hexagonal grille for the corporate Hyundai one. I had hoped they would incorporate the fascia from the RM16 concept, but it appears they’ve taken it in the direction of the 2017 i30, which will probably gel better with the rest of the design.
In this pic, taken in late December, the rear has less camouflage, exposing wider taillights and rear glass. The spoiler also seems new.
God only knows what they’re planning with this thing, (seen testing on the ‘ring in Oct. 2016; the concept was revealed June 2016) but it appears, surprising no one, that the new Veloster will
not
be mid engined.

What if it just randomly went RWD to replace the genesis coupe. RWD hatchbacks are amazing, see M coupe

Totally got Kinja’d; had a second image of the Hyundai i30.
This is probably the direction they’re going with the new face.
