I mean you could always go to a carb and MSD if the electrics are too far gone. Maybe you could find another $300 donor car/truck with a rusted out body and salvage title. You have a pretty broad range of donor vehicles the vortec 350's in the late 90's have cast iron LT1 heads and are complete roller motors. They would be a good choice if you just had to stick a motor in it for a while, and with the popularity of the LS they are usually very wallet friendly.

Dang, for $300, if it’s as rust-free as the owner claims, that’s a steal. Please buy it before someone demo derbies it.

This part of the ad is a strange assertion, “no third seat. Has towing package which eliminated 3rd seat.” My Roadmaster wagon had both the towing package and the 3rd row seat. The towing package is great, because it gets you a heavy duty cooling system, a LSD, and some other goodies that bring the tow rating to 7000 pounds.
