Kinja'd!!!

Everyday this car impresses me a little bit more. We are into year three and I just renewed the registration for TWO more years. I enjoy the way it drives, feels, and behaves. Responsiveness and smoothliness are all O ask for! I also love the amount of compliments I get on the Amanti and the fact that people keep asking me how I can afford it when they see it. The car has a trade-in value of $300-$800!!

Seriously, it’s a great ownership experience. Now I’ll admit I get compliments on how nice the WK2 is as well, and of course I get compliments on the XF. But the XF is only because it’s a Jaaaaag and I’m 28 living in a low income state where people forget Jaguars are worth a pack of Mentos after 5 years.

The WK2 is called pretty but I always get this nudge of inadequacy because it’s usually the guys and ladies in $60,000 plus trucks and Wranglers that compliment it. The Amanti though, people are so sincere, and sincerity is something you don’t get from people anymore. But the reason why those words hit me the deepest is because they always have to do with how well I’ve taken care of this mutt of a Kia. That’s the best type of compliment!

Seriously, it’s the difference between complimenting parents on how smart their child is and complimenting them on how well they have raised their child. Both are welcome, but one acknowledges that your hard work and relentless care. People are the most self conscious about failing as care takers and mentors.

Enough on the Amanti for now. But since have this awesome transition right here and believe in posting efficiency, well allow me to just say...

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

...I’m in love with oversized pearl white Korean sedans! I’m a hardcore value nut, mostly due to what I do for a living. Its the main reason I love current top end Korean cars, Jagaurs, and...well I like Maseratis because Maserati.

Anywhootie and the Blowfish, Im starting to move away from wanting a Jaguar XJL Supersport and replacing that desire with one for a V8 Genesis Sedan or G90. Brand spanking new G80s and G90s are all ready running $6,000-$11,000 off MSRP!! The only problem is that Korean cars are holding value a lot better than they used to. They still fall off rapidly but once they hit 50% off the sticker more and more have been just staying there lately. Sucks...

Kinja'd!!!

Then you have the 2015 Kia K900s which are sub-$30,000 already. My only issue is that I’m not sure if it’s responsive in its inputs. I would need to drive one.

Kinja'd!!!

Then we have the Equus which are also sub-$30k for 2011 to 2013 models. But I feel these are the K900 issue but bumped up another notch.

Kinja'd!!!

Let me also say I’m a weird type of driving enthusiast. I actually prefer chauffeuring. I like passengers telling me what a great driver I am. Who taught me, and giving a play-by-play of what I’m seeing ahead, what is going to happen because of that, how I will react, and having the passenger observe everything happen accordingly moments later. I like teaching people when they realize you have an expertise in a subject they thought they had a higher than average proficiency in, and then are excited to gain your knowledge within that car ride.

If I had my way I would always have someone in the rear passenger side seat, whether that be mom, grandmom, a buddy, or a date. But no one likes to sit in the rear seats as adults. Everyone wants to be in the passenger seat with the same amount of adjustability as the driver seat. Even these 5ft nothing people will set the seat as far back as possible just to be inline with me, which I hate because they are so far away from the airbag in case something were to happen outside my power. And don’t get me started on how no one adjusts their headrests in order to prevent whiplash! I swear front passengers do nothing to assist in their own safety!!

Gawf!!!

the first step on the road to recovery is admitting you have a problem.

They all look good to me, but then again I was a contemporary art student and performed a lot of “New” Chamber Music all through my college days. I’m talking about playing saw and hitting vibraphones with anything besides a mallet. I’m weird!

Get a g80 sport. I think the genesis cars look the best, but the k900 isnt a bad value and isnt ugly.

I’ll have what Wobbles is having. You’re either tripping balls or a serial killer.

Seconded on the Genesis and K900.

Also, I once dressed up in full formal wear for a symphony performance that had me playing a wine glass. I’m really good at wine glass.
