Asking for a friend...

Seeing as Oppo is a pretty expansive group of individuals, located all over the world. I figured it’d be a decent place to ask if anyone knows of any job opportunities in the Nashville metro area, closer to downtown is ideal.

Background on the individual:
3 years of marketing experience, primarily digital
1 year of experience as a sr. product analyst

All experience thus far has been in the automotive field, but open to other industries. Looking to stay in product management or moving into account management, but not totally opposed to another marketing role (if it’s the right fit).

Appreciate any help!

While you’re at it, you wanna ask about opportunities for former frac field engineers with a chemical engineering degree in the southeast? You know, for a friend.

I’d have to imagine there are a lot of jobs in that field in that region of the country. From what I’ve gathered it’s a fairly booming industry, but I certainly could be mistaken.

Well, I can’t find shit. I had an interview for a process engineer job on Dec 15, and they wanted to interview more people before they made a decision. It sounded like they want to hire a whole second shift of engineers, probably around 4 people. If I don’t get this, I seriously have no idea what I’m going to do. I’m getting pretty desperate and am about to lose it.

Your best bet is going to be looking for jobs through contacts. Having an “in” at a company is one of the best ways to at least get a foot well inside the door. I got my first positions at both companies I’ve worked at so far through connections that at least got me in and talking to the people I needed to.

I’ve about exhausted all of my contacts. I’ve been looking since April, no luck.

Buy a truck, sing about truck, become a country music star overnight. You’re welcome.

I’ve visited several times, it’s full of singers without much talent and plenty with quite a bit of talent, and I’m nowhere near as good as the former are. lol

I wouldn’t mind a truck though.
