They happen to be very close in price to a new Volt. That boils the question, would you get a used ELR or new Volt?

new volt, they are so much better vehicles than the old one the ELR is based on.

While I think the ELR is cosmetically superior the newer volt is certainly mechanically superior plus it’ll have the factory warranties.

I don’t understand why the ELR doesn’t get more love from Oppo. It’s cool. It’s different. It’s luxurious and not terribly practical. And, it’s cheap to find used. If it was a wagon and had wood paneling, opponents would be all over it.

As good as the new Volt is, I’m somewhat partial to the old one (and never liked the show version), so my vote would be none of the above and get an old Volt.

If I was forced to decide between ELR and new Volt I’d have to say Volt because of newer technology, more practical and less pretentious.
