I love when people build up cars for off road work...then put in a water gulping short ram in place of the much safer factory air box (that likely isn’t a power bottleneck in the first place)

Well, I’d ask them if they still have it first, but yeah. I love the idea of hard core softroading. Its stupid but fun. I really want a 1st gen Rav4 that I could build up into a fun machine for cheap. My mad scientist idea would be to take the engine out, weld the front diff, put in sideways inside the body (with appropriate firewall) and run each side to a front/rear diff. Then long travel and win.

Mine had the oversized tires(still have them) was going to do the 2 inch lift. Then I crashed mine. I was waiting till the 5 year warranty to do the lift. Crashed it a month before the end of warranty
