A friend wanted me to design a livery for a theoretical LS-swapped 300ZX project (not super original, still has its merits) and I thought I’d share it here. I put TL Type-S wheels on it because they’re basically the LS swap of OEM wheels. 5x114.3 bolt pattern fits too.

It’s somewhat accidentally inspired by the Ford GTs that won Le Mans last year   but the engine is made by GM. Go figure. I’ve just recently acquired some 3D modeling/rendering software so if I can find a free digital 300ZX I’ll make some actual (non-weaksauce-photoshop-skills) renders.

what if the white (?) thin stripe was the barrier between the two colors? the rectangle between the headlights would need to be that lighter color to complete the barrier, then the top gets one color and the lower part the other. i’d have the light color run along the bottom of the window insted of swooping down

Is the swoopy line coming from the headlights chrome? Or just a lighter blue.

To be honest I wasn’t sure where I was going with it, rendered it first as a white stripe and then played with blend modes until it looked okay. I like the chrome idea though, that sounds like a nice contrast.
