Going through all my car pics of 2016 and these are the highlights, both from shows and on the streets.
First is the Chicago Auto Show in February.
Then we have the best picture ever taken of a 1998 Nissan Altima, my brother’s car.
Then we have the first time I’ve had access to a DSLR camera, thanks to my brother’s job, so I borrowed it and went to my local luxury car dealer. They even shared one of my favorite pics on their Insta!

Then we have my neighbors. Next door (E46 Bimmer) apparently has a warehouse full of cars and is restoring an unspecified Jaaag. Next to them (E28) is my cool/dumb neighbors. Between the 2 sons, in the past year, they’ve own/owned an E28 528i, a Savanna RX7 (which was straight piped which was cool the 1st 3 times but not at 5 am), an RX8, an EVO 8, an EVO 9, and probably more I’m forgetting. The EVO 8 is currently putting out around 500 WHP. The brother with the EVO 8 is also dating a girl who has a straight piped ‘06 Mustang GT which we’ve almost called the cops on several times because of how loud it is (you don’t want your windows rattling at 11-12 at night just b/c of someone’s car and they do that about twice a week).
Then in March I saw a pre-pro Focus RS, which was inexplicably in Central IL.
Then we have a Cayman GT4 at my church (which had only been revealed 1+1/2 months prior).
Then in April, one month after its reveal, was this 991 GT3RS in PTS green.
Then the Jalop specials, a grey-brown 911 Targa with a brown leather interior and manual transmission and a brown over brown Mercedes E350 wagon.
And then we have the worst 370Z I’ve laid eyes upon.
I love the Mondial because Ferrari loves to forget it.
The ultra rare Honda Tercel, which I spotted again 2 days ago which made me very happy. To quote Dr. Zoidberg, “The only Tercel on the planet that will get stolen” and Brickman, “The reliability of a Toyota and Honda! That thing must repair itself :D”.
An Alpina B7, who’s owner turns out to be a regular at my place of employment, so I get to see it a lot. The owner of it and I have a mutual respect, me because he owns a B7 and him because I know what it is.

Now in June, I spotted a Toyota Cressida, for the 1st time in my life. A few weeks ago I saw my first Tercel SR5, specked exactly like Zoidberg’s. No SR20 tho.

Sad Supra. Supposedly the owner is in the military and is currently stationed overseas. The car is 100% stock.
Somebody’s been parking by feel. Over the course of the semester, it as gotten rougher and rougher and smells quite strongly of weed.
The driver’s side rear door is the only undamaged panel on the car.
Finally, we have a Fiat Spider that’s been sitting for about 10 years outside with the top down. With that in mind, the interior really isn’t that bad.
