I was hoping none of my neighbors would notice right away that there was a new evergreen out in the woods, and I could start moving it around all winter until they noticed.
Nope. Next door neighbor figured it out that night as he was dragging his tree out. He put it next to mine, and texted me a photo suggesting that he knew it was me.
Sad trombone. I’ll have to find somewhere else to put it now.

Luckily, our lot backs up to woods, so we could put it out there.
Yes, I just put an artificial tree in the woods. I’m wondering if the other trees will figure it out.

Hilarious. I wonder if the metal trunk will rust. If an artificial tree rusts through and falls in the woods with nobody around to hear it, will it still make a screeching sound?

It’s in a common wooded area I can see from the house. I’m counting on neighbors to notice it at some point, and we’ll all have a laugh.
If they don’t notice it, I will move it every week until they do.

Then explain photosynthesis. When it’s dark they turn off the photo synthetics. When it gets light the photosynthetics turn back on. You can’t explain that if they don’t see light.

did none of you pay attention in school. they can feel the heat from the sun. they sense the heat of the light, not the light itself. plants are very heat sensitive, it’s why they scream when on fire.
