Kinja'd!!!

This is it.

Seriously though, there’s shockingly little in New England and basically none of that in RI. Gonna need to plan a trip to NH.

Yup. As in...you can get to the edge of the grass, but don’t you dare drive on it.

Would be nice to know more about trails and ORV parks in New England. Do plan on buying another Cherokee when I come home.

So far I’ve only driven on black ice, a gravel lot covered in ice and slush, and 1/2" of snow on pavement. EXTREME. This winter is colder than usual but I’m not seeing much snow, which is the usual result of living in the lowlands of the Puget Sound area...

There’s some in western mass that’s more greenlaning than actual wheeling. On Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, and the national seashore there is plenty of sand they let you drive on. On Nantucket there is a huge off-road community, not organized but there is definitely evidence of some serious stuff going on.

And yet, you have BFG ATs on the whip.

Damn right. I’m planning to do some traveling to go wheeling...it had some bald Bridgestones on it when I bought it, and I got a killer deal on the BFGs. Couldn’t say no.

Which is weird, because I’ve seen my family in Seattle posting snow pictures today. We’ve gotten like 4 inches here, and it was 60 degrees the next day so it was gone instantly.

That’s good to know. I’m not looking to go nuts with the thing, but I wouldn’t mind finding some stuff to drive over.

Nantucket has a ton of paths and pretty basic off-roading/greenlaning which isn’t too hard, but not like a dirt road. Your truck would definitely be able to make it. I know Doug drove his RR out in the moors and he did fine except for a broken lower fender
