2016 was a wild crazy year. And, before the year closes out, I guess I’ll jump in on the theme too! I guess it wasn’t all that bad. I had a horrible start to the year, and every time I made a step forward, I was always kicked in the crotch and put down again... Ugh, it brought me down to my knees and wished I was dead...Thankfully, the second half of the year turned the tables. Tucker didn’t die, I got onboarded by an awesome company, I got a new car, and toured some parts of the country!!! I’m even working on beating depression.
Politically and socially, it has been an almost objectively bad year for many folks. After seeing the country turn sour to my existence and brew up ways to hurt me (despite the lack of facts to back it up), it just didn’t feel good. The things that were once seen as a complete joke might soon become actual policy *sighs*.
And worse, facts don’t count anymore. They’re literally worth nothing now. On top of that, neither side wants to take a dose of reality and instead just stay in their little bubbles. I don’t expect 2017 to be better in this regard.
I got Phil back today! They replaced the fuel tank and cleaned the door. The door still has a faint oil stain on it...they also scrubbed the fabric enough that it’s fuzzy now. Welp, I have that to look forward to! At least the fuel tank should work properly now.
